Paula is a round the world yachtswoman and an adventurer. She has completed over 90 things on her list of things to do before she dies – including walking on hot coals, paddling down the Mekong, twice walking across the country, running the marathon and kayaking the length of the Thames. She is now training to swim the channel.
Her philosophies are to ‘live life to the full’ and ‘just do it!’
Finishing the ‘Global Challenge – the world’s toughest yacht race’ in July 2005, Paula circumnavigated the world the ‘wrong way’ in 35,000 miles and ten months. Her book ‘BOAT to BOARDROOM’ uses the Global Challenge as an extreme case study, referencing it to provide lessons and advice in high performance leadership and teamwork.
